Walnut Wrist Rest

Description

A solid piece of North American black walnut, not veneer and not stained pine. The top has a shallow slope so the front edge sits at 0.6 inches and the back at 0.9, which puts your wrist level with the front row of most keyboards.

It’s finished with a hard-wax oil rather than a thick lacquer, so it feels like wood instead of plastic. Four rubber feet keep it still on the desk.

Grain and colour vary from piece to piece. Some are dark and even, some have lighter sapwood streaks. We don’t pick and choose, so the one you get is the one nature made.

Care

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Once a year, rub in a little furniture wax or hard-wax oil if it looks dry. Keep it away from radiators and direct sun.

Fits 60% and 65% keyboards exactly. Most 75% boards are 12.5–13 in wide, so it works there too. Not intended for tenkeyless or full-size boards.
